   Pieter Strauss

After a career spanning more than 30 years as a senior executive in the Corporate world, Pieter took early retirement and started his own Consulting business. During this time, he became very interested in hiking.   

 

In 2018 Pieter completed the Camino from St Jean Pied de Port in France to the Compostela de Santiago in Spain which consisted of +800 km. 

 

His Camino averaged 20+ km’s per day and took 5 weeks to complete.

 

He has done many hikes and in 2019 decided to offer hikes along the Southernmost Tip of Africa. 

He has first aid and CPR training. 

His enthusiasm for people makes him a wonderful host.

 

His knowledge of the shipwrecks in the area is quite extensive which makes for some really interesting stories. He has good knowledge of bird species in the area and is the lead guide on the Shipwreck Trail.

   Marcelle Strauss 

Marcelle spent many years in the Corporate world working in Public relations and Marketing.

 

In 2018 she completed the Camino from Roncevalles in Spain to the Compostela de Santiago in Spain.

 

  Her Camino averaged 20+ km’s per day and took 5 weeks to complete.

 

She has completed a number of local hikes and assists Pieter in running the Shipwreck Hiking Trail.  

She has first aid and CPR training. 

She handles the bookings, admin, and logistics
